Sunday School ...

This Sunday, May 4 , is our first Sunday of the new small-group format. We will be starting with a series on the life of David--discover more about the way that God calls and uses people from all types of circumstances and situations! You will have two time options for small group: A senior high group will meet from 9:30-10:30 AM  in the youth room, and a junior high group will also meet from 9:30-10:30 AM  in Room 403 (two doors down from the youth room). There will also be another small group from 10:45-11:45 AM , for both junior and senior high, which will be in the youth room. Come and grow with others and with the Lord!

Confirmation... Class will be at 6:00p.m. in the Youth Room. This week's topic: "Lord's Prayer"

Coming Up. . .

30 HOUR FAMINE: 9th-12th graders are encouraged to join in as we fight hunger around the world! Millions of children die each year due to hunger and hunger-related causes. Let's do something about it! Raise money and go without food for 30 hours to make a big difference! Pick up a donation and informational packet by the bulletin board outside the youth room. Please let Celeste know if you plan to participate by no later than May 1 .

SERVANT SATURDAY: Whether or not you are part of the 30 Hour Famine, you can still join in on the monthly Servant Saturday. We will be going on a food scavenger hunt to help fill our food pantry here at church! Meet at church at 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 10. Servant Saturday is open to both junior and senior high youth!

GRADUATING SENIORS: Be on the look-out for a mailing coming to you about a special recognition for you during worship on Sunday, May 25 . We would like to lift up each of you and pray for you as God leads you into the future! Mark your calendars for this special Sunday.

RETREAT FOR GRADUATING SENIORS: If you're a senior this year, we have a RETREAT just for you! Think of it as one last hurrah with the other seniors from St. Luke before you head off to college. We'll be discovering more about how God wants you to never worry about money, ever again! It's only $20 a person, and it will be June 6-7 (Friday-Saturday) . Talk to Celeste for more details!
